Italy turned its clocks back last night, a week before we do.
The sun's hour
Summer time is ora legale, the legal hour. Winter time is ora solare, the hour the sky keeps on its own.
Since 1916
Italy first moved its clocks in June 1916 to save fuel. It has changed them every year since 1966.
Dark at five
From today the sun sets over Rome at 5:14. The walk home and the aperitivo now happen after dark.
Shine at noon
A glitter knit under a blazer, a few crystals on a white tee. Worn from the morning, kept small.
From Maria's edit
When the evening starts at five, wear a little of it all day.
